Auto Add Stripe as Payment Method
Stripe payment module will be automatically added when verification has been completed.
If Stripe payment module is not added as expected, such as:
Stripe payment module is marked as [Disabled]
Stripe payment module is marked as [Disabled]
It might occur when the version of iCHEF POS is outdated. To resolve this:
- Download the latest version of iCHEF POS on App Store and log in
- Go to Online store > Mobile Ordering (Takeout) > Payment method setting, or Online store > Mobile Ordering (Dine-in) > Payment method setting. Click [Enable]

It might occur when you active Mobile Ordering(Takeout) or Mobile Ordering(Dine-in) later than the application of Stripe. To resolve this:
- Go to Online store > Mobile Ordering (Takeout) > Payment method setting, or Online store > Mobile Ordering (Dine-in) > Payment method setting
- Click [+ Add payment module] and select [Stripe]
Enable Stripe on Online Store
Turn on iCHEF POS, tap [Update Menu] to log in on iPad. Then customers will be able to pay by cards on your Online Store.
Marks on Paid Order
A notification will pop up when you receive the first order paid via Stripe.
A dollar symbol will be tag on paid orders, and the order icon will be marked as blue.
You can re-print kitchen tickets or guest check in order detail. However, you cannot add items to the order or adjust the discounts and loyalty points. Note: When voiding a transaction, the payment will be refund to the customer. Stripe will still charge the transaction fee.
Payment Method Displayed on Receipt
Payment method on the receipt will print as Online Payment.
Online Payment | Print Type |
