[Item Management] Create and Manage Items

Item Management

You can create individual items or set menus, and they can be arranged by categories.

Add Category

You can categorize the items to improve the convenience of ordering, such as steaks, pasta or fries, etc. This also allows you to check the sales performance of products by categories under [Sales & Report] to get a better grasp of customers’ preferences.

  1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items
  2. Click [+ Create]
  3. Enter [Inventory category name] and click [Save]

Create Items

An item is the smallest unit for customers to place orders.

  1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items
  2. Click the [Product category] to which the items belong
  3. Click [+ Add item]
  4. Fill in item name and price, and upload the product image (optional). Click [Save] to complete the settings

You can enter a negative number in the item price. When a customer uses the gift vouchers sold by your store, if applicable, you can click this item to redeem the voucher.

Create Set Menus

Set menu is composed of several items and sold as a combination. For example, customers can choose a salad and a drink for a salad set menu. Before creating a set menu, you should create menu items first.

  1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items
  2. Click the [Product category] to which the set menus belong
  3. Click [+ Add a set menu]
  4. Fill in name, price, and upload the product image (optional).
  1. In the column of [Set menu items], click [+ Add a new set meal item]
  2. Enter a category title, click [+ Add items to set meal] and select items
  1. Repeat Step 6 to add different items for the set menu and click [Save] to complete

Options of replacing items with extra price/price deduction for set menus

Customers can choose to replace specific items in the set menu. This may cost them extra amount or enable them to enjoy a deduction of amount.

Other Settings

Arrange the Order of Categories and Items

The order of the products at the backend is consistent with that displayed on the ordering page of iCHEF POS and the receipt.

  1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items
  2. Click the pen icon in the upper-right corner and click [Reorder products]

  1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items
  2. Click the pen icon of a category or item to adjust the settings

Edit Details

Edit

調整商品原本設定的內容。


Duplicate

若要新增的商品與既有商品相似度高時,透過複製按鈕,可以新增相同的商品,後續再編輯複製的商品內容。


Disable/Enable

當商品停用時,商品將不會顯示在 iCHEF POS、雲端餐廳與第三方外送平台,此操作不會將商品刪除,並且在未來可以重新啟用,商品的銷售資料不會有中斷的情況。


Delete Permanently

若商品未來不會重新販售時,可以將商品永久刪除,刪除的商品無法復原,雖然可以繼續查詢銷售資料,但未來新增相同的商品名稱,銷售資料不會接續記錄。
