You can add up to 5 pages of menu, with 20 menu grids on each page. You can place menu items, set menus or menu folders to the grids.
You can edit the names of menu tabs, which will be shown on the ordering page of iCHEF POS. You can name it for up to 6 Chinese characters.
- Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Menu Settings > iCHEF POS Menu
- Double-click on a menu tab to edit its name and press the [return] key to complete
- Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Menu Settings > iCHEF POS Menu
- Click a grid
- Click [Insert menu item]
- Select an item and click [Confirm]
Click [Place in multiple items sequentially], select the desired items and click [Confirm]. The items will be added to the menu by order.
You can add 1 folder to each grid. A folder can contain 15 items after being expanded.
- Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Menu Settings > iCHEF POS Menu
- Click a grid
- Select [New folder]
- Click on the new folder, double-click on the name of folder to re-name it. Optionally, click on the folder icon to upload an image.
When taking an order, you can select items from the menu page. Or, click on the list icon on the far left of menu tab to view all items. You can search items by categories or keywords.

Select one item and add it to a grid.
Place in multiple items sequentially
Select multiple items and add them to the blank grids sequentially.
New folder
Create a folder.
Replace this grid
Select one item and replace the original one in a grid with it.
Clear this cell
Remove the item from this grid.
