Importing a set menu to foodpanda requires changing the item format.

Item Structure of foodpanda

A set menu was created in a 3-layer structure on iCHEF backend. However, foodpanda only supports a menu of 2-layer structure.

How to change the format

Step 1: Note Set Menu Details

1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Category
2. Select the set menu and note down set menu details.
   • Including: set menu item category & set menu item options.

Step 2: Create Item

1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Category
2. Click [+ Add item]
3. Enter the name and the price of your set menu

Step 3: Create Modifiers

1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Item Modifiers > All modifiers
2. Click [+ Add modifier]
3. Create all your item options請重複此動作，將所有的可選品項新增完成

Step 3: Create Modifier Groups

1. Go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Item Modifiers > Modifier groups
2. Click [+ Add Group]
3. Name the group as your option category, and add your item options created in step 3.

Step 5: Assign to Menu Item

1. Assign this group to the set menu created under menu item
2. Toggle on [Must be selected] (Learn more about: Create and Manage Item Modifiers)
