Every paid order is kept in the corresponding area by default and can be closed by the store manually when the customer leaves. This applies to the stores which ask customers to pay when placing orders. For the stores which allows customers to pay after finishing the meals, the function of automatic exit can bring the convenience of closing an order right after it is paid.
Close An Order Manually
- Go to Shop Management > Restaurant Flow Settings
- Toggle off [Automatic exit] under the section of Dine In Setting and [Take out automatically] under the section of Takeout area setting.
- In this way, the orders will be kept in iCHEF POS after being paid and need to be closed manually.
Dine-in Orders
To manually close an order, simply drag it to the trash bin in the bottom-right corner.
Takeout Orders
Swipe Left
Press and hold the order and swipe left to the end to close the order.
Swipe & Click
Press and hold the order and swipe left a little bit, and then click [Picked Up] to close the order.
Drag to Close
Press and hold the order icon, and drag the icon to the trash bin in the bottom-right corner.
Close An Order Automatically
- Go to Shop Management > Restaurant Flow Settings
- Toggle on [Automatic exit] under the section of Dine In Setting and [Take out automatically] under the section of of Takeout area setting.
- In this way, the dine-in orders, takeout orders, dine in self-ordering orders from online stores, and the unpaid takeout/delivery orders will all be closed automatically after checkout.
The settings of automatic exit will not be applied to the paid orders from the third-party delivery platforms or online stores.
