Why the average price of item is different from the original price?

When you give a discount on entire order, discount amounts will be deducted proportional from the price of different items. Thus the average price will be lower.

Why the system recalculate the discount for unpaid orders?

There are two possible circumstances: delete or adjust discount settings.
