Requirement
- A Xero account (If you don’t have one, you can create now)
- Create your chart of accounts on Xero (Get started with Xero)
If you have multiple stores, create an individual chart of account for EACH store.
Set up the iCHEF Xero Integration
To ensure the data synchronization works accurately, iCHEF team will assist you in the setting up and account mapping process.
The process involves connect both your iCHEF and Xero account into our Integrator software and creating rules to map your sales data from iCHEF into draft invoices in Xero.

FAQ
- Every day, there will be draft invoices created for each different payment method you have in iCHEF account (Cash, Visa, Master etc)
- The total amount and voided amount for the day will be recorded in the draft invoices.
- Invoices for the day will be synchronized into Xero on the next day 5am.
Draft invoices will be created for each payment method for each day. Once checked and approved, they will be ready for bank reconciliation. When the actual funds have been deposited into the bank accounts, the payment can be reconciled against those invoices.
- Go to Sales & Report > Revenue Breakdown & Variance Report.
- Select the individual date you are interested in. The revenue and void amount of each payment type will be displayed.
- Check this amount with the draft invoices created in Xero.

Yes you can, when setting up your iCHEF Xero integration, you can choose to upload past sales data into Xero.
