The mPOP device supported by iCHEF connects to an iPad via Bluetooth. mPOP device connects to an iPad using Bluetooth, and once it has been paired with an iPad, other devices will not be able to detect the mPOP. If you need to change the iPad that the mPOP is connected to, you will need to initialize the Bluetooth of the mPOP.
Initialize Bluetooth of mPOP
- Turn off the mPOP power switch on the left side of the mPOP.
- Use a [PEN] to keep pressing the Bluetooth reset button and simultaneously turn [ON] the power switch on the left side of mPOP.

- When the initialization operation starts, the Power LED and the Error LED located on the top surface of mPOP will blink blue and red simultaneously, then release the Bluetooth reset button. At this time, the light will turn to [blue light on, red light off].

- Turn off the power of mPOP.
- Go to the iPad that was connected to the mPOP.
- Open the setting of the iPad and select Bluetooth.
- You will see the mPOP device in the [My Device] list, click on the [i] and then select [Forget This Device Setting]. The mPOP Bluetooth initialization is completed.

Bluetooth Auto Connection Setting
The connection between the mPOP and the iPad can be completed through a normal connection. Only when a disconnection occurs frequently, it is necessary to use the Auto connection setting.
- Please go to the APP Store and search for [Star Quick Setup Utility], download and install.

- Turn on the printer power, and connect the Bluetooth between the printer and the iPad.
- Open [Star Quick Setup Utility], and select [Select Printer].

When you first open the [Star Quick Setup Utility] app, a notice will appear asking for permission to access the local network and Bluetooth on your device. Please [Allow] to obtain permission.
- Please select the printer you would like to set up in the search list and click [YES].

- Click Printer Settings > Bluetooth Setting
- Turn [ON] the Auto Connection button and click [YES].

- A confirmation notice will appear again, click [Yes] and choose the current mPOP.

When the iPad screen shows [Success], it means the printer has completed the setting update.
