The application for Google Business Profile takes 3 easy steps only.
Step 1: Confirm The Information
Before applying for the service, please check the following first.
- Do you have a Google account? (Apply for a Google account)
- Does your restaurant have a Google Business Profile?
- Yes: See Bind your Google Business Profile with iCHEF backend.
- No: Go to Step 2 to begin the application.
Go to Google Business Profile, and click [Manage now] to log into your Google account.
If you have a Google Business Profile, the screen will be shown as below. Please go to iCHEF backend and bind your business profile with iCHEF (Learn more).
If you do not have a Google Business Profile, the screen will be shown as below. Please continue to apply for this service.
Step 2: Apply for Google Business Profile
- Go to [Google Business Profile] > [Manage now] >, and log into your Google account.
- We suggest you use the Google account of the restaurant’s owner instead of that of an employee in case that you cannot access the management authorization after the employee resigns.
- To avoid creating business profile repeatedly, please enter the restaurant’s name first to check if there is a similar profile.
When creating new business profile, please fill in the actual information to ensure successful application. (Learn more)
Please notify the owner of the business profile and transfer primary ownership.
Repeated application for a business profile might reduce the opportunity of popularizing your restaurant.
Step 3: Complete the Verification
We suggest that you select phone code to complete this process, which is immediate and easy. Just be aware of the call with a country calling code from Google. When picking up the call, please listen to the verification code carefully (you may write it down) and enter it in the verification field.
Whether you choose to verify your profile via text message or phone, Google will contact you with a country calling code. If your phone number is unable to receive an international text message or call, please contact your service provider or choose other way for verification.
Bind Your Business Profile With iCHEF Backend
After binding, you can edit the your business profile in iCHEF backend (including restaurant’s name, opening hours and cover image, etc.) to allow customers to access the information they are looking for.
