Before customers arrive at the store or before the reservation day ends, restaurants can modify reservations on the iCHEF POS App reservation page; customers can modify their reservations on the reservation information website before [Reservation Hold].
If the modification is made by the “customer”, to avoid affecting the restaurant’s immediate operational arrangements, when the modified reservation affects “today’s” reservations, the iPad using iCHEF POS will display a real-time notification, allowing in-store staff to quickly grasp the day’s situation.

This notification is pushed through the iPad’s built-in [Notification Center], so you must first enable [Allow Notifications] for the iCHEF POS App to start receiving notifications:
1. Enable [Allow Notifications] on iPad
➤ iPad Path: Settings > Notifications > iCHEF POS
After entering the iCHEF POS notification settings page, ensure [Allow Notifications] is enabled. Thereafter, this iPad can receive notifications whether or not the iCHEF POS App is in use.

Both [Cashier iPad] and [Ordering iPad] can enable this iPad setting to receive notifications.
2. Start Receiving Notifications
Notifications will be sent for any changes (add, modify, cancel) made by the “customer” that affect “today’s” reservations. Tapping the notification on the Table Status page will automatically redirect you to the Reservation management page for viewing.

Notification Redirect Limitations:
– If you are in the middle of operations such as ordering or checkout, to avoid interrupting the current workflow, tapping the notification will not automatically redirect.
– If you are not yet logged into the iCHEF POS App, it will redirect to the iCHEF POS App login page; you can view it after logging in.
