Finished checking the boxes? Below are the steps tailored to your needs! Complete them in order to manage multi-platform menu updates all at once.

✦ Update the Main iCHEF Product Library

Whether it’s POS, Online Store, or third-party delivery integrations, all product sources originate from the iCHEF Backend: Product/Inventory Mgmt > Items. 

• Add & Edit: Please complete these actions on this page first.
• Delete: If the product is listed on Online Store or Third-Party Delivery platforms, please unlist it from the online menu before deleting it.

✦ Edit Online Menu: Online Store

Once the main product library is adjusted, go to Product/Inventory Mgmt > Menu Settings to confirm based on the platforms you use:

➤ Mobile Ordering (Takeout/Delivery) > Menu Items
➤ Mobile Ordering (Dine-in) / Pre-Order for Reservation > Menu Items

• Edit Item: Please check if there is a need to change the display name on Online Store.
• Add Item: Please include it in Online Store via [Menu Items].
• Unlist from Online Store only: Simply click [Delete].

✦ Edit Online Menu: Third-Party Delivery Integration

This operation only applies to Uber Eats or foodpanda accounts already integrated with iCHEF POS. If your third-party platforms are not yet integrated, please manage them via their respective backends.

For integrated platforms, go to iCHEF Backend > Integration Settings to confirm based on the platforms you use:

➤ Uber Eats Integration (2.0) > Menu Items
➤ foodpanda Integration > Menu Items

• Edit Item: Please check if there is a need to change the display name on Delivery Platform.
• Add Item: Please include it in Delivery Platform via [Menu Items].
• Unlist from Delivery Platform only: Simply click [Delete].

✦ Check Printer Settings

Almost there! When adding new Item, to ensure onsite receipts print correctly, go to Backend > Shop Management > Printer Settings , Match the printers used by your workstations, edit the printing rules, and check the products that need to be printed.

✦ Final Step! Make Settings Take Effect

After all setting changes in the iCHEF Backend, the crucial final step is to log in to your in-store iCHEF POS App and [Update menu] . Your settings will now be live!
