Online Reservation Blacklist|Reservation

This function can effectively block the customers who use the mobile phone numbers in the list to make a reservation online. Moreover, when you add a reservation from POS or the backend, the system will do a matching check automatically to help you identify whether the customer(s) is/are in the blacklist.

Add mobile phone numbers to the blacklist

➊ On the page of [Online Reservation Blacklist]

iCHEF POS App Path: Toolbox > Online Reservation Blacklist

Backend Path: Online Store > Reservation > Online Reservation Blacklist

After entering [Online Reservation Blacklist], click [+ Add] and type in the phone numbers.

➋ In the settings of [Reservation Details]

Backend Path: Online Store > Reservation > Reservation List > Reservation Details

In the settings of [Reservation Details], expand the [Advanced Settings] and add the phone numbers to the blacklist. When you enable or disable the status, it will be synced with [Online Reservation Blacklist], and the system will display the status of the phone numbers in the blacklist.

  • Enabled: The phone numbers are included in the blacklist.
  • Disabled: The phone numbers are not included in the blacklist.

Adding phone numbers to the blacklist will not affect the existing reservations. You can manage the reservations as usual.

Blocking messages and prompts

When a customer’s phone numbers are added to the online reservation blacklist, he/she will not be able to make a reservation online. The system will prompt the customer to make a reservation via other channels or contact the restaurant.

When the customer makes a reservation via other channels or contacts the restaurant, the system will identify if his/her phone numbers are in the blacklist and shown a blocking message for you to decide whether to accept the reservation or not.

In addition, you can identify the reservations made with the phone numbers from your online reservation blacklist by the filter or the icons or labels on the orders.

The blocking with an online reservation blacklist is based on customers’ phone numbers The information is not synchronized with those in [Customer Management], and is shown on POS and the backend only.
